Cracked tablet

My son sat on his tablet by mistake and the screen cracked a bit and now he can't use it as the screen wont swipe to unlock. Is there anyway to fix this.

Stop feeding him biscuits!

You could use a mouse/keyboard to unlock it and navigate around. To actually fix the screen tell us what make/model it is and someone will give you an estimate for screen replacement.

Its 10 inch version thx prob will just replace it. He only had it 2 weeks.

You can get replacement LCD for that around the same price.

For a repair shop to do it, (even if they would do it), probably a rough estimate of €40/€50.

New Tablet costs €119.99.


You could chance your arm, and bring it back to where you got it and say that is how it was when you opened it. If there is no other signs of wear.

Remove accounts and factory reset the device if possible before hand and make sure it doean't request the old user account when rebooted.

Alba are owned by Argos, it was bought there. They're known for being good but defrauding them isn't on.
