Renting out full property tax question

Hi,

if you are a PAYE worker and you left the country to work abroad / travel would you pay tax at your old irish rate while renting out your property?

You need a tax accountant for that. It depends on your individual circumstances, the tax arrangements between Ireland and whatever country you'll be considered resident in, etc.

Thanks, so it could easily be the same as living in Ireland but just not living in the house you are renting the house as a landlord as?

Ireland retains taxing rights related to the property.
