Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has anyone in Galway area left Virgin or Sky to use Soerview?

If so who fitted it all for you.

Anyone have multiscreen and record box?

How is it all working for you?

Saorview on it's own isn't an adequate replacement for Sky or Virgin. You'd be better served getting a combi box that can handle satellite and saorview. Hundreds of free channels compared to a handful. If you already have a sky dish simply hook it up to the box,add an aerial for saorview. (A cheap one from Dealz works for me due to proximity to Mt.Leinster)
Have a look in the satellite forum for the best options.
Here's a decent box,the software on it can be patched to change epg to look like Sky's and you can get it to do other stuff such as add a hard drive for recording.

    That's my problem
Am disabled & chronically ill and can't find any local fitter or engineer or technition to help.
One company could not even tell me if they did a recordable or multiroom box!

I really need someone to buy and fit it all for me
Plenty in Dublin but no joy in Galway for some reason

    Go to http://saorview.ie

Look at retailers in Galway and call some of them (the local companies, not companies like Argos). They should be able to recommend someone.
