Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone else a bit disappointed with the latest brands opening? Sports direct, dealz and yet another chemist now. We also lost Winston's to an existing sport shop.

It would be nice to get something different in to the city center other than sports shops, chemists and euro type shops when these units become available - we are already well supplied with these.

I notice the computer shop on James Street is closing too. Rates to blame apparently. Hopefully we don't get yet another of the above in there!

Yea nothing new in any of them. Retail is changing though, online is a serious threat. Discount type retailers (as above) are doing well though. Rates are a killer.

They are opening in October in McDonagh junction. Only is relocating downtown and Superdrug is going into their place.

You’d imagine Boots there wouldn’t like that. I like superdrug, decent deals and products there

Great news, a bit of competition for Boots in McDonagh, and in the run up to Christmas as well.
