Ditto - just dug out the Artic clothing (normally kept in storage vacuum bags). Fuel and food. Beer & whiskey too. Trying to plan what to do with the horses that were to be turned out - keep in or leave out and see how it goes? All other stock housed. Feels a bit like one of those American western movies where the ranch is about to get buried in snow drifts

Another route to snow for the West is if a front from the south or west moves up and meets the cold air.

We got great snow in Mayo Jan 2010 I think from a streamer running from donegal bay to killala bay so could be interesting in West aswell.
