Has anyone heard of people doing part-time jobs at the weekends while they are in training in Templemore? Is it even allowed?

I am sure, that you aren't allowed to work while in templemore. As you're paid while you study.

Yes but you are paid 180 euro p/w which isn't exactly a lot to live off if you have rent/mortgage/bills, etc to pay. As long as it doesn't interfere with your job or studies it should be okay.
