A walk our Dun Laoghaire pier and a Teddys ice cream at the end - romantic as you can get!

Grand Canal walk between Leeson St Bridge and Grand Canal St is particularly nice. Sandymount Strand is also very nice to walk along the sand if the tide permits. Merrion Square Park and Iveagh Gardens are also very scenic.

Is the Furry Glen not noted for ahem certain types of romantic encounter?

Iveagh Gardens, Killiney Hill, Poolbeg Lighthouse, Howth Head, rocks by the 40 foot by Joyce tower in Sandycove, Stella Rathmines (not morning or outdoor, but something just lovely and old school and romantic about it), that perfect quiet spot amongst the throngs in a good old fashioned noisy city pub (not morning or outdoor either, but all going well for laters :p)
Also love the enclosed courtyard of IMMA and the War Memorial Gardens (latter better when it's not winter though)

Donabate beach (keep going until you reach the sand dunes)

Lake in phoenix park down the furry glen

St Catherine's park Lucan (Liffey woodland walk)

Blackrock train station (go to the coast wall side and theres a gap to the sea) nice to watch the sunrise and great views of the city)

    Trinity college pitches/benches

    Dublin bay cruise to howth

    Howth head walk

    Around Dublin castle

Disclaimer: I'm not a perv. Just places I think are romantic :)
