Pre Purchase Survey Carlow

Can anyone recommend someone who will do a pre purchase survey in Carlow town? Finding it hard to find someone with availability at the moment.

Also, would a survey include and inspection of any electrics? The house we are buying had a few loose sockets/switches and we were told the previous owner is an electrician so we just want to be sure there was nothing rewired or tampered with.

    Thanks in advance

Unsure how they'd do this without making holes in the walls.

Anyone can rewire a house. Just the electrician has more of a chance of following trade standards.

TBH, you'd be wanting to do a total rewire of the house, as otherwise it'd play on your mind.

If you want the electrics inspected you'd need to get an electrician in (pick a certified "Safe electric" one).
The pre purchase survey is mainly structural and they are not digging around, so they inspect everything on the surface.
If you're planning to rewire the house, do the whole lot in one go, an official contractor will give you a cert once the work is done.
