Got very dark here in celbridge last few mins. Clouds look fit to burst. Come on......

Also just put some food out for the little birds to stock up for the day, my mam just informed me that birds need to eat their body weight in food every day to survive.

Minus 2 this morning, with a feel of -7. Not a bit of frost in sight. Sat off for work in the car, drove 2 minutes down the road and hit the washers to clear some dirt of the widescreen. Instant white out. I was lucky I wasn't on a corner or in traffic.

Same happened me, got white walkers breath on the windscreen. I had filled up the windscreen washed in prep for the weather so little water and mainly fluid

Any snow here will be a nice surprise. Always wondered why I never remembered 1982 being snowy. I guess it’s for exactly the same reason we won’t see snow (or much anyway) this time.

Have a look back at Kermits post a few pages back, Hirlam shows showers coming our way starting this afternoon

Yeah. Saw that but streamers lasting that far west are difficult to forecast. Knowing our luck they will die about Pettigo.

    gah

It's not myself I'm worried about - I'd be happy enough to walk from the IFSC t Portmarnock but the kids are in creche and the missus is 7 months pregnant and working in a city center hospital..

2010 was carnage getting out of town - don't want that for her

Nothing more than light snow has been forecast for Ulster at any point. Maybe Cavan or Monaghan at times
