For those in Wicklow and maybe even North Wexford, looks like there could be some heavy snow heading your way in the next hour or so, separate to anything that may be falling now

DP has gone up in the last hour at the Ashford weather station in Wicklow so will be marginal. Current temp 1.9c DP -0.2

I was hoping the Wicklow webcam would be useful today. :pac:

It does look like the main clouds are heading southeast so a lot of the clouds make landfall in Antrim/Down. I don't know if it will change around to a more easterly later today.

Is tomorrow evening in Dublin expected to be a 'don't travel' scenario? Meant to be going to a gig in the Olympia, but I'm starting to think that may not be a runner...

This is the forecast already to change direction later. East and North East expected. We aren't due anything major until this evening anyway

asked the neighbour this morning - jokingly - had he his escape plans from work in place?

    "for what" was the response

"urm... it's going to snow over the next few days"

"Snow!? I'll be amazed if any of that sticks"

    "... ok"

I'd love to see a timelapse of his face over the next few days

the D4 , the one everyone complains about being the heart of the media and liberal elites :D
