North Kildare went from sunny to white in the space of 5 minutes. It only lasted a few minutes but the garden is white now and it's still very dark.

Gone very dark, and a good amount of snow falling in Portmarnock now. Not quite a blizzard, but the most I've seen this week.

Bit of a letdown so far this beasterly :(

We’re only just approaching the predicted start of the event (we have been predicting it starting Tuesday evening since about Friday) and potential is there for it to snow almost continuously until the weekend.

Posts like this are really starting to become annoying.

People need to READ and sort out their expectations before ranting because they aren’t yet buried in snow.

Put the little one down for a nap here in Dublin 9 just ten minutes ago and went down to check her and the room is pitch black. Sunshine to black cloud in minutes!

Just looked at WEATHER CHANNEL App on my S7 .. its snow radar, then went to future.

Not sure how reliable this is but its showing that CORK CITY and surrounding towns will get lots of rain/sleet/snow from 7.30pm to about 9.30pm. Here ye go for what its worth . screenshots:
