Looks on for northside of Dublin at least and then across to the west in the next 15 minutes to half an hour.

Just started in D11, spot on!

Havent ever seen snow clouds move this fast. They just parted as the snow stopped...beautiful clear night again.

    Nothing will be melting anyway.

    STOP REFRESHING EVERY 5 MINUTES

@ boards we need a site notice up to this effect
(You also had a week to prepare for this monumental onslaught of activity but this is not the place or the time for us to have an argument about that)

It's nothing to do with that I think - it's the volume of posts that have been moved from thread to thread, there have been lots of weirdness all day where the Technical thread will load this one because the posts moved etc. Database is having some issues with that, I think.

On another note, holy **** did it start coming down crazy in Dublin 7 - not even a minute of snowfall and the ground was white, no problems at all with lying. Now it's being blown about like crazy by the wind, it's got a real light dusty quality to it at the minute, so it's being blown around like dust too!

Nothing in Ringsend. Very disappointing night so far. The activity we were promised seems to be passing us by.
