Another streamer developing just NE of Wales. It's going to be a good night, with streamers galore. Safe to safe there'll plenty of lying snow in the morning for the East

I think that one has south Dublin written all over it!

    Exaggeration. Its a slight dusting.

It's not, there's a decent amount on top of the dusting from this evening.

Extremely heavy hail and snow here in Tara, Meath. At least 3 - 4 cms on ground now with most of it deposited in last 15 mins.

Seems to be skirting the coast looking at the radar. Kinsale - Clonakilty seems to be getting plenty.

Dublin 15 to Clonee seems to be the sweet spot over past hour.

According to the radar it should be snowing here in Dunshaughlin this past 15 minutes but sadly not a flake.

On a side note, a Cardiologist advises anyone over the age of 55, should not shovel snow at all, because he considers it so dangerous.

    i) Cold air causes arteries to constrict more than usual and decrease blood supply, breathing can also be affected.
ii) 6am to 10am is when fluctuations the bodily rhythm make us more vulnerable to heart attacks.
iii) Even when healthy, young men shovelled snow, their heart rate and blood pressure both increased, more than when they exercised on a treadmill.

I really need sleep if I’ve to be on the snowy roads to work tomorrow morning (live in North County Dublin, work in Dublin 17) but I’m too afraid I’ll miss thundersnow!

One of the 2 you circled doesn't exist, it's a radar blip.

I created a discord where people can continue to chat and share their snow pics if boards.ie struggles and craps out again. It should be able to handle the load.

Webcam to keep an eye on (the pubs are closing so there should be very little foot traffic / less heat by midnight or 1am)
