North and westside of Dublin in particular in the firing line again in the next half hour. Streamer lining up.

    Moderate snow at Grange now.

This is going to be a long night for me! :)

i would think it would be already formed by the time it hits howth head.
Was looking at the ME radar earlier and something round about there was causing the incoming showers aimed at that corridor to break up

10km north of Kilcock and nothing falling despite Netweather saying otherwise for last 15 minutes! :(

both Met Eireann Radar and Netweather showed that heavy shower over me for ages but there wasn't a flake. Managed to get a very loud rumble of thunder and flash of lightning off it tho.

approx 1-2 cm in dublin 15 , there does seem to be a higher melt quality/ factor about this snow compared to 2010 where everything stuck , temps were much lower then I suppose.

    Unexpected snow in letterkenny!

I can't believe donegal is getting more snow than South dublin :pac:

The can be the testicles for my county Meath monster

He'll need a trip to the doctor if that's the case, you'd need a microscope to see them.

Done my best to stay enthusiastic but Dublin City Centre has been missed so far. Dusting on cars but nothing at all on the ground except wet. Hoping for a miracle but expecting the usual showers with no sticking 😪

didn't get it at all. Hasn't snowed here since 6pm and looks like I could be a while waiting unless the wind direction changes and gets me out of the IOM shadow.

Isle of Man looks like the problem for parts of Dublin anyway, looking again at the met radar and can clearly see the path impacted - although some activity inland that is in the path?

Going by the radar I don't think it's as much the shadow as just awful luck? Very small gap there between the clump around Swords/Blanch and the bigger clump over Ashbourne.

Wind is forecase to go mor ENE overnight so you should be golden after 1am/2am :)
