Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Some of the secondary roads here in Limerick City covered with snow with ice underneath. Treacherous driving conditions. I can't believe its only a yellow warning here. Thats mad Ted..

Only a dusting here in Letterkenny but I wasn't expecting anything so happy enough. More on higher parts of the town. Super powdery. It's cold as f*** though out there in strong winds. Seems to snowing across the water now. We live in hope. Enjoy the snowy goodness my southern brethren.

More heavy snow in Dublin 15.......🎈🎈🎈🎈

And yet it remains an orange warning here. Employers here are saying that employees must take a day’s annual leave as it is not a red warning. Crazy stuff - I’ve never seen so much snow here in Kinsale.

For sure it's red along those area's. But for the majority of the county there is very little snow. Unfortunately the warnings are county wide, which is difficult for a county the size of Cork

Difficult for those of us who live in Kinsale and work in Bandon/Clon or vice versa! Day’s annual leave so.

Short but snappy snow and graupel showers here this morning, typical in windy easterlies...radar promising for dublin...inland could get very decent accumulations

    Tomorrow night

However, there is a red weather warning for snowfall in place between now and midday tomorrow. Accumulations by then are expected to be double what they are now. So it will be snowing on and off across Dublin for the next 24 hours, though some heavy falls are expected in the next hour or so.

On Thursday night into Friday, the forecast is for an almighty dumping of snow, way above what we already have. So anyone on the East coast should expect and be prepared to be housebound on Friday.

What are the chances of a RED weather warning being announced for Galway and the surrounding counties tomorrow?
