He’s probably going to have to be operated on, 37 days is too long. He won’t be able to have a natural movement at this stage.

On a side note, in some countries they make the drug smugglers do their own sifting.

Yes. But you can't drug someone without their consent. If the prison were to do this, not only would the evidence be dismissed as inadmissible, but he could also sue the prison service for a rather large amount.

Remember that legally he's innocent. You cannot go around drugging innocent people.

Potentially. And many narcotics cause constipation as a side-effect, so the slow trickle of the drug into his system may be assisting his world record attempt.

Judges do consent to forced medical intervention in the case of mental patients and/or people where there is a disproportionate risk to life / health and consent is refused. It can also be done when the patient can't consent, e.g. they are unconscious.

Honestly longest I've gone really needing a ****e is about 11 hours on a trip up to the Lake District when my biological father refused to stop at any point and I was informed that any dirtying of clothes would be with a right kicking, and that was ****ing agony. I can't imagine what nearly 6 weeks must be like.

Faecal impaction must be horrible. It's probably like a block of cement in the guy, distending his colon putting him at risk of rupture and deadly infection. For all the jokes, he's still a human being and he's in danger of killing himself. Even if he still has the urge to go it's unlikely he'll be able to without manual or surgical help.
