oil ran out, great timing!

    i'm living in ballincollig and just found out this morning that our oil tank is empty.

    worried that it will take a few days to get a delivery especially with cold snap on the way.

    anyone know a company that would do same or next day delivery?
    Is there anywhere in cork to buy keresene in drums and fill up that way until delivery comes?

    East cork oil site mentions an emergency same day service, not open till tomorrow though

    The Amber garage next to Dunnes in bishopstown sell kerosene from the pump. The empty drums are 20l and I think cost €11. The kerosene is 79.9c a litre which is expensive but if you need it you have to pay it. Don't fill the drums to the top, it's very hard to pour without spilling, I put about 17l into them.
    (I know the price cos I bought some last night)

    Kellehers oil in Macroom might be able to sort you out.Family run business and always found them great to deal with.
