Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Surprised to see today that Wenger has never won the League Cup.

Can't see anything but a city win going on form but who knows what could happen in a final.

Hopefully Arsenal produce some sort of reaction after that result on Thursday and make a game of it

Chambers is a big risk after he was woeful during the week in the Europa League.

Defo not gonna finish 0-0;4-2 city, that gunners backline looks so dodgy

If you're an Arsenal player you're going to be happy seeing Bravo and Kompany playing. I'd still fancy City to win but I hope Arsenal can pull off the result.

VAR takes away from City's usually kind decisions advantage thankfully, bonus for Arsenal.

City with an unsurprising amount of the possession thus far

    Absolute shocking miss..

What a run by Wilshire though

Looked offside for the chance anyway & this game has VAR.

Wilshire getting a consistent run lately and tbf to him is showing why he's an extremely talented midfielder

He just needs to stay fit

Also thought it was a bad miss at first, but looking at the replay Walker just got a touch on the ball.

  • Decent game so far

Should have been a yellow for a dive from Monreal tho

Would love to know how they decided on Pawson for this game..

I'd love to know why Monreal wasn't booked there. Blatant dive.

Welp, he's scored in a final now. Lovely finish from Aguero.

    Get in!!!"

    :D

  • Classic Arsenal defending

Great finish tbf but terrible weakness from Mustafi, dreadful stuff

Mustafi is a dream for attackers

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,358 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

Mustafi shouldn't be paid for a month for that.

    Embarrassing.

  • Wenger deluded if he thinks that's a foul

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,725 ✭✭✭✭blueser

What's Wenger whining about? That was never ever a foul.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

City Cup and league double about to be completed

  • Wilshire is a great player

    Love if utd signed him

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,037 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

I think he did nudge him myself. He made no effort to play the ball. Soft but free for me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,358 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

Pep's planned this long ball tactic.

Incredibly soft if it was given surely?

He's clutching at straws to mask the fact Mustafi isn't a very good defender.

Never a foul just Mustafi being Mustafi absolutely useless

  • Should be a corner there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,109 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

That clip shows it was 100% a free, because Aguero looked at the player directly before nudging him in the back.

That said if it was given, it would be an extremely soft free, and Mustafi is a disgrace for even allowing it to be a possibility.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

If Mustafi thinks that's a foul I'd hate to see him try to get on a bus in O'Connell Street on a busy Saturday afternoon. I've had oul' ones barge into me with more force and claim it was a fair shoulder to shoulder.

That's the not the point though. He looks at him nudges him in the back and gains an advantage.

    Great defending by Vinnie there.

Did Wilshere just end up on the ground and the ref didn’t fall for it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,725 ✭✭✭✭blueser

    Dive from Wilshere there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

    Wilshere should be booked there.

Wilshere really does have the touch of the Deli Ali's about him. Loves a good dive.

Dirty and reckless from Fernandinho. Fully left the ground and went in with 2 feet. Pretty scummy tackle

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,592 ✭✭✭✭Trigger

    Is VAR being used here?
