What a comeback, what a great goal from Aribo! Very impressed by Hagi, he really got the crowd going. The pitch looks in awful condition though, all the recent rain has taken its toll!

Unreal comeback. Hagi really is something else.

Another great comeback today. From 1-0 down to 2-2 draw. 2020, the year of the Rangers.

4-3-3 and we struggle, as soon as it changed to a 4-4-2 we played so much better and went ahead only for Gerrard to change it back to a 4-3-3 ? And then minutes later we concede...

The penalty save was great from the Braga keeper! Hagi makes amends with an assist for Kent’s goal!

Hi, how are you? Is this meant to be some dig at me because you’ve now won the “got further in Europe than you” cup to add to the “preseason cup”, “we’ve signed Ryan Kent” cup and the “beat you in the new year” cup??

I’m afraid I don’t have the channel. How are the “ comeback kings” getting on against Hearts?

    Season still alive?

Did they not play on Wednesday early?

They did. He also said they've entered 6 competitions or something since he took over but they actually entered 8 competitions including two EL campaigns. He's shell shocked. It was the sort of performance that normally means a manager is done.

Definitely looks like someone who won't be here next season.

I can't blame the club if they look for options. He has definitely improved us but looks like he hit a ceiling. His stubborn sticking with tactics that don't work anymore (433) and throwing his players under the bus (no matter how deserved, keep that **** indoors) is becoming annoying. That said, many of these players can go too. Tav is never a captain for example and just a bang average player without the likes of Candeias to cover his mistakes.

It is a strange one, Gerrard has definitely improve you but the form after the break has ruined any title shot similar to last year. The big question is does Gerrard know what has gone wrong and why and can he fix it

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,429 ✭✭✭Sheridan81

Gerrard's going to lose the dressing room if he keeps blaming them for everything. He's probably already lost Morelos by suspending him. It'll soon be curtains at this rate.

That's the thing. There's been times when he was forced to switch formation and things immediately changed for the better only for him to then change it back.

The main issues people seem to have are:

    1. His subs often don't make real sense or are way too late
    2. The sticking with the 433

There's other things that can be attributed to still learning like the way he talks to the press about his players. That's something he can stop doing easily.

Allardyce actually talked about it and said he needs to stop it or he'll lose the dressing room (if he hadn't already) and he's not exactly known to be tactful himself.

This should be the end of Gerrard. His undroppables have once again messed it up. Tav and Goldson can go as well.

Bringin on Barker is a complete piss take.

That said I just hope people won't focus solely on Gerrard. Every player who downed tools to get him out needs sacked.

They were so good pre Christmas though, up until the game against Hearts they had amazing form and it was neck and neck at the top

Stevie must have let the standards slip after that famous win! Complacency slipped into their game! :D

Not too upset at that. Leverkusen are probably the best team we've played this season, they never seemed to have to get out of second gear.

A new kit deal with a British company called Castore is pending for next season. Wonder what happened with Hummel, was that deal terminated or had it just ended?

Supposed to be a three year deal which would have run into 2020/2021 but for a court case taken by Sports Direct

Ashley’s deal runs out end of July Castore is the clubs new strip supplier. It also means the megastore will be back in the clubs hands.
