How come these are no longer available:

Traffic Cameras are unavailable at the moment.
    We apologise for any inconvenience

    https://www.dublincity.ie/dublintraffic/

    The stills are dated 15/05/17?

    Are they down that long.

    Would have been handy today.

Is there a dispute between Dublin City Council and TII then ? Why don't Dublin City take down their webpage or at least link to https://www.tiitraffic.ie/cams/

Its an issue with the server. It was mentioned on Dublin City FM one morning. From what I remember the software running the server for the cameras was outdated and no longer supported by the software provider or something along those lines. So when the software license expired it wasnt renewed and hence the cameras went down. The tender for a new software provider has been put out so itll be a while before they come back to full functionality again unfortunately.

Thanks for the update. I don't see the point in Dublin City Council spending tax payers money on this service if it's something that seems to be now provided by Transport Infrastructure Ireland (via https://www.tiitraffic.ie/cams/) - I'll send a mail to the Dept. of Environment on this matter referring to same. Would appreciate if others would make the department aware also. It probably makes more sense for TII to be hosting such a service.
