Tried to ring today however it’s snowing!!!! Good job we don’t have a branch in Norway isn’t it?
Trying to send money as I have before to daughter in the UK and keep getting a message it’s not possible to complete the transaction.
However have managed to send to the Philippines today with no issues. Wife tried to setup the account again and entered the BIC as above but adding the XXX to the end. It said to enter a valid BIC. This was the BIC we have always used. My daughter has also checked with her bank and the IBAN and BIC are both correct. Is this because of the snow also?

    Hi jimand josie,

    Thanks for your post.

We would advise you to try adding this payee again, but leave out the three X's at the end of the BIC as this should then work for you. Please let us know if we can help with any other query and hope you're keeping warm in this weather. :)

    Thanks,
    Sarah
