You should probably consider the inconvenience it would cause other church goers by interrupting the service. That's consideration, not censorship.

So consideration is good then, is it? As long as you're not considering their feelings, obviously.

Maybe I could stand outside the church instead, ready to greet the congregation with a big sign, telling them how stupid I think they are for believing in something that I don't believe in. I could jeer them as they pass too, because free speech. Alternatively, I could censor myself and not do any of that because it wouldn't be nice.

That’s not censoring yourself. There’s a big difference between the two scenarios. One is specifically going out of your way to antagonize a group of people who believe in something and the other is stopping yourself speaking normally in everyday parlance for fear of upsetting or offending someone.

If your aim is to promote free speech, maybe it's a good idea.

If you genuinely want to get your point across that's another good reason.

In both cases, true you may consider the feelings of others, as well as the consequences for you.

Otherwise i can't see the point. It's not censorship. You just have no reason to behave like that.
