Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone know when this happened? It is a major downgrade to the usability of the site. Would always use this to search recently sold items to know what is a decent price to sell something.

Wish they would reinstate this as it is a major pain in the arse

It's probably cleared a lot of storage space for them. There was a huge amount of, mostly, useless space being taken up.

I would say space is the reason. I would not be bothered about withdrawn ads but searching sold ads is a handy feature and always available since the beginning with adverts. I use ebay in the same way to establish a realistic price for things

Submitted a request to them regarding this but would not expect anything to change.

I doubt it is to clear space. If you select users profile, the sold and withdrawn data is still there.

A cull on boards account wouldnt go astray either. Do it like phone credit. Put a timer on it. You must log in to an account every x amount of time or account is deleted.

Ah no,that will never happen.Just like when you report someone with multiple accounts.

It goes along the lines of"look how great we are we have 500000 users".When in actual fact it's more like 150000.

Love it when people get annoyed at low ballers. Just politely decline or ignore them.

I’ll let you know but never contact you again because I sold the item on gumtree.

Ah sure that's grand so, I was only available to meet in town @ 4 on Sunday and wasn't going to turn up anyway.

    Thank you for your email.

The ability to search sold/withdrawn ads has been removed from the apps in preparation for the new data regulations which come into effect in may of this year. While the function is still available on the web site it is likely to be removed from there in the near future, unfortunately.

So another way in which the EU has affected me in a negative manner. Ah sure the good ole EU, can bate them
