    Gerry (who has a reputation as the forecaster who is scared of snow) predicting

    widespread significant snow
    Leinster + Munster 15 to 30cm generally
    Dublin & Wicklow up to 100cm (yes 100)

    Met Eireann explained that it was a complex system and hard to predict. Imagine what would have happened if they called an alert for 10pm and it hit at 4. At least they got people off the roads before dark.

    Yeh. Looking up at the lamppost it looks like a major major storm. Then there’s nothing much sticking. A few hours of this and I’ll get a cm.
