RTE keep saying Wicklow and Dublin will get the most snow but every single chart I've seen has Carlow/Kilkenny/Wexford being dumped more so than Dublin.

F*ck all snow here in Carlow, very disappointing!

I am so confused. Been snowing pretty much all day here in D9 and yet my car current has not got more than a handful of snow on it and less now than 2 hours ago....is there a melt on or is it just blown away? Either way seems calmer than earlier

The last hour here in Clonsilla, its been quite like drizzle rain. Very fine wet mist.

Snow pellets!! For the past two hours in Dublin 15......not rain. Get a grip.

No but there were two being made on the back green today....
You need some sort of box to make the bricks.

A loaf tin is great for making snow bricks.

i'm in South Dublin. Foothills of the Dublin mountains. I'm expecting a metre of snow tonight.

Dry and a little stormy here in South Sligo - no white stuff yet - had neglected to get to the shops this week but found a Christmas pressie 2016 (: bottle - so raising a glass to the blizzard - may those of you in it's path be safe and enjoy!

I'm just outside naas. It Looks like nothing falling yet the snow we trampled today is looking fresh. The wind is getting up now too.

Joined just to comment that it's absolutely wild in D14 at the moment - very strong winds and fine snow/ice pellets, does anyone know are we still waiting for more to hit?

Snow a bit heavier here near Mallow and the wind more noticeable. The dusting is drifting!
