Sorry, I just had to type it out and read it back

F*ck all snow here in Carlow, very disappointing!

East Co. Carlow here- about 10cm of snow on ground. We have that very fine snow now. Sounds like rain when you listen to it but it's white on a black fleece sleeve! And it's covered all our footprints from earlier.

    Countryside south of Cork city.

Light snow, seems to be a little sleety.

    Moderate winds.

    No blizzard here yet.

Joined just to comment that it's absolutely wild in D14 at the moment - very strong winds and fine snow/ice pellets, does anyone know are we still waiting for more to hit?

Yes we are waiting on the type of snow that would accumulate to one metre in 12 hours :pac:

Nothing happening in Tuam in Galway. Some very light snow on and off during the day, but that’s it. Disappointing!

Met Eireann still talking of record breaking snow accumulations for tonight, certainly no downgrade on the latest forecast.

    Not quite that far. Ticknock.
Three Rock is the actual Dublin mountains as far as I'm concerned.

I'm just going by what Gerry said. And the hermoini totals

Whatever is failing in cork city isn't melting the snow we had already. And the tyre tracks in the road are covered over. I can't tell where there were exactly. It's a strange set up.

1 metre in South Dublin, I heard it again. Wow!

Been looking out the window here every so often and was wondering when the snow was going to start. Truns out that while it does not look like much is happening, a good bit has fallen in the lat 2 hours. It is not like the snow I am used to though. It is like a fine dust. no winds yet so I wonder what it will be like once it kicks off proper.
South Kilkenny a few miles from New Ross.

according to net weather, all the heavier snow is blowing left of cork city just missing us. Stuck with the misty light snow for now.

Dublin 15 here very windy and lots of fine wet snow but it's definitely sticking instead of melting.
