Snowing again in Kilpedder, North East Wicklow.

Slight thaw on at the same time. Flakes are wetter than previously and not blowing about as much - falling straight down
    Temp -0.6

Some wet snow falling in Dublin 1

Snowing again in kildare and getting heavy, a big enough thaw here so any snow now probably won’t an impact.

The thaw has commenced in Dublin 5 :(. Please next winter, deliver something at a more appropriate time of year so we don't have to deal with sublimation and thawing.

My parents are planning to go to Killarney this evening and I keep gettting text messages asking will it be safe. I don't know what to say.

Still snowing lightly in Kilcock. Cabin fever seriously setting in here with a three year old and a husband working from home (and crazy busy). Its day 4 of stuck in the house because he's too little for the depth of snow in the estate and gets very cold. Tempted to try and get down to the village today but we're 1.5km so its a long trek

There was a decent thaw going in North Kildare earlier. Now it is lightly snowing (nothing like the previous couple of days though)

People still enjoying the snow? No sign of any sleet or rain yet in my area of west Cork.

Thank you to Kermit, MT and all the specialists on here who flagged this up 10 days or more ago giving us time to get organised. My immediate and extended family have managed to get through this historic period in the south east without issue thanks to ye’re expertise.

Castlebar to Foxford road is okay but take care.

Foxford to Ballina is in good condition everything considered.

snowing again in D15 I thought we had had the last of it . Don't think it will make any difference to the thaw that's started this morning. Thanks to all the weather experts on here I've been following religiously the last few days.

Snowing in Perrystown but a definite thaw has set in. This is the part I hate. When it's gone, it's gone and I can deal with that but it breaks my heart a little every time I look out the window and it's receded a little more from my reference point.

Going to take the dog out now while it's still lovely and thick on the ground. Still not sure I'll get home to Ballycullen today even with the thaw beginning.

Moderate amounts of snow falling in NE Wicklow. No sign of a thaw yet, and regional roads are still layered in ice.

Gently snowing in Kildare now but thaw definitely on. Where we cleared a walkway yesterday is now just a puddle so I think it's over here. We loved it. So many fab memories and pictures of the toddler and dogs, also my husband and I didn't kill each other stuck in for the past few days so that's a win.

Anybody have a clue how the road from Kilcullen - Athy is? Need to get to a funeral today but will have a toddler with me, if it's still dangerous I won't risk it. Better to go early or wait until later in the day for a thaw?

I’m 8 miles from the east coast about 150m up. Big white fluffy stuff coming down strong. It looks like Rathdrum will be lost forever :)

Ah lads, where is the is the rain? It is snowing heavily again here on the south coast.

Who'd have predicted a post like this on the weather forum a month back?

I'm just looking forward to when this bloody wind dies down - we're on the east coast in a old and drafty house, so it has been baltic in the eastern side of the house for days now. Even with the heating on high, it's struggling to get into double figures in some rooms :(

our kitchen in dalkey is 6 degrees and the bathroom is a no go area as probably less than 6, windows look like the inside of a freezer...

Overcast here near Mallow. We'll probably get sleety rain later so no great thaw I would expect until tomorrow.

Another decent few cms of snow last night in West Galway. I am not sure when we will ever see this much snow again.

Very heavy snow in D18 again.

    Forecast was for rain...

Are we still expecting a thaw at some point or have we got it wrong?
