I'd be interested to know if that poster runs a business, as there were similar posts from others whinging about the red warning (including one who apparently saw his employees as expendable because they weren't "PHD educated" or didn't have an LC.

One of my friends has been told that as the company is 24/7, they will remain open and expect people to be in work. This is in Limerick, Munster - part of the red warning.

To all employees - if you work for one of these type of ****ing goons, please look elsewhere for employment. You are worth more to others than you are to these money hungry pricks. And if YOU yourself, think it is too dangerous to risk travelling to work, please tell them to **** off. No job is worth your life.

Latest HIRLAM brings the heavier snow north as far as Dundalk overnighth before retreating south in the early morning tomorrow.
GFS and ICON both very similar with Waterford, Wexford and Wicklow looking like they will be hammered.

If it's to be believed, there will no time at all in the next 48hrs where it's not snowing in the Capital or along coastal counties south of it. (perhaps turning to sleet/freezing rain in the far south)

GFS snow depths for tomorrow afternoon (based the last few days performance, you can happily quadruple these, at least locally)

Exactly. This is a wider malaise. Use your common sense. Plenty of people will go for a quick walk, get some air. Not venture too far. They have at least 5 senses to tell them what is safe.
