Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why can't national schools introduce lessons in school teaching kids to be vigilant and warn them of possible online scams and fraud and teach them how ot deal with online harassment and bullying.

Why isn't schooling here applicable to everyday life?

Why don't parents do this and let the teachers get on with academia?

Because learning off realms of useless information to just regurgitate in an exam is ridiculous.

Parents have to actually do something too and take some responsibility.

What's all this "here"? Don't you live in Finland?

Where did I say "here"? I'm specifically referring to the Irish education system, because, shock horror, I'm Irish and this is an Irish discussion board.

Should you not be asking this on a Finnish forum? You're not even living here.
Or are we talking about what they should do in Finland?

At the moment it's briefly done in the stay safe program on primary schools. They also do things such as safer internet day.

That's not what the OP wants to hear though, because we can't do anything properly in this country.
