Imagine, rules around marriage elegibility being applied to everybody.

Another caller thinking rules should only apply to some people. Why do people think they are special and qualify for a la carte application of the laws?

90% of Liveline calls are on that basis

90% of Liveline calls are on that basis

Yes, but whoy, caller? Is the entitlment culture so prevalent across all strata of society? Is liveline really a snapshot of the nation and are we really that whiny, selfish and self-centered?

They are designed for Joe. Don't fit PBH so well. More ooh-aah as a result.

Looks like I missed another classic snoozefest.

Just from reading the thread did PBH put on a posher accent at one stage? As he would say himself, “Good Lord”. Poor Fateen would be needing de subtitles to understand dat so to speak.....

And it also appears he did some more weird noises? Must have gotten more cream buns for a Foyver....

He got a bit happy in the last half hour and it was like listening in on two people having a private phone call.
He did manage to plug his TV show that was on tonight, he has learnt well. :)

(Turrsdaze) De Brand NEW & IMPROVED so to speak 2-18 Joe Duffy Wurkday Calculator and dat:

Wurkdays in 2-18 and dat: 66
    Joe Shows: 53
    No Show Joe Shows: 13
    Breakeens 4 Joe: 13

PBH (de full-time host of de show) Shows: 8
PBH guest appearances and dat: 1
    D'Omen Shows: 4
    AN Udder Shows: 0
Good Fryday No Show by nobody at all at all: 1

    NEW FEATURE SO TO SPEAK:
Fateen's Estimated Fees (De FEF Matrix so to speak) to date dis year: €132,500*
(not including de EXTRA FEES for 3 days of De Beast From De East TV + Radio Simulcast Xtravaganza + likely "Danger Money" for travelling to and from wurk in de snow and dat).

    King-World-News-WTF-Is-Going-On-Here-864x400_c.jpg
*de fees are calculated at €2,500 per show x days dat Fateen is in so to speak. Dose fees are likely conservative and outdated as day are 2 years old so to speak.
I'm including Good Fryday as a Wurkday as it is not an official Bank Holiday/Holiday Day. Even Pat Kenny is in Newstalk FFS, but no-one in RTE of course of course.

I’d say I’m as popular there as I am in RTE.

I know dat, I know day, I know dat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But every now and then when a fill in was presenting you could get a flash of intellect and the briefest glimpse of how much a force for good the show could be if handled by an adult. Alas, we are where we are and dat.

Trump bashing time on the news. Is it compulsory on every RTE show at this stage?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,022 ✭✭✭anthonyjmaher

Sicking the Democratic bias in RTE.
"Could Trump have won without the dirty tricks" says Aine.
Hilary Clinton couldn't even win the Democratic ticket to run for President without using dirty tricks!
