    11.00-2.00 - Lunch

the real teachers feck off out to Dubai for 3 years, save enough to put a deposit on a house and come back to their jobs waiting for them

Ed Walsh , the ex president of UL was on the radio talking about stopping this carry on. Getting trained here , fecking off over to the middle east, bringing back zero extra expertise when they return. Some racket

but sure no matter when you closed it there would be some kids put out

    and we are "country people"

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,138 ✭✭✭Uncharted

If there's one thing we know about travellers,it's that they don't like travelling. They will want the school on their doorstep..... ffs.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,061 ✭✭✭✭BPKS

Look I'd have no problem with this school being kept open if it was a thing that I believed that once these lads finished the Leaving they would actually add something to society but I've seen little or no evidence of this to date.

And plenty of schools have closed down and kids just had to move to other schools. Thats life.
