No real evidence of that that came through on the call,in all fairness , I’d rather see him getting help than that other chancer yesterday....

A smartarse might reply wondering why he waited until the week long predicted snowstorm landed on his doorstep,to try to fix his heating. Also his first call is to Duffy? Spare me the violins. A more considered reply would be that I think it's fair to say I'm generalising. There is a widespread consensus among this thread regarding the type of caller this show attracts.

I've said it before and I'll say it again caller, be prepared for a gang of gurriers throwing snowballs.

Pump action water pistol with 1.5L resevoir filled with 8 day old p*ss. Gurriers have a Freudian hangup about smelling nice. They'll automatically head for the nearest can of Lynx and it will allow you to continue your journey.

That says more about the posters on this thread tbh.

That man did try to get the heating in so your point is moot btw.

Oh I agree with you there in terms of the type of callers that do come through, the moaney types and pre madonnas but what I was referring to was when you put it in comparison to Sid I know who I would genuinely like to see getting a help hand, nothing wrong with that ....

I think, on this occasion, that John in Waterford may be a genuine case, and simply got caught out like many people, as these conditions weren't on anyone's mind a fortnight ago.
However, how many times have we seen chancers and scammers call in and try it on, and often get results?

Will make a collection from the litter box for this purpose. Handy tip.

My daughter just asked me why we can't see the callers to Liveline....in this day and age with video call and that. I haven't the energy to explain why it's being broadcast on the TV.

She's beginning to sound like me.

Why is it being broadcast on tv?genuine question..

Easy, cheap content that requires very little effort to produce and doesn't require a second presenter to be drafted in to do those hours.
