Speaking from some experience, its the obnoxious little brats who get what they want are the bullies, mammy and daddy let them do what they want and they have no fear or sense of whats right or wrong

In my area there’s been a spate a serious racist incidents involving under 16s. Seems to be very prevalent.

There will never be enough resources to cover any and every possibility when it comes to education. Throw in the wildly differing needs of kids with mental problems, social problems, communication problems and you've got an impossible job.

Maybe some resources could be freed up by dealing with the long, long term 'sick' in the public sector. Free up the great teachers to do their job.

Eh no - one pretty major difference is that home education gets no financial support from the state whereas Gaeilscoilleana get loads! If you want to home educate, you more or less carry whatever costs yourself and that's it. Great money saver, everyone should do it and we'd cut public spending radically!
