    The usual biased broadcasting from Duffy as usual. If you listen to the difference in the soft tone that he adopted to the people who agreed with McAleese, as opposed to the combative, belligerent tone that he adopted to the people who disagreed with McAleese. It's ridiculous and I don't understand how RTE allow this to happen every day.

    But main question that I want to ask is why was RTE reporting Mary McAleese's tantrum as one of the leading stories on the news. Do RTE no tell us about what a secular society we live in now? So why is the religion of Mary McAleese (a private citizen) and her childish utterances making the headlines.

    And to McAleese herself - If you don't like the club, then leave. I'm sure the 140K a year pension that you are still getting from the State is more than enough to pay for another club that you could join and find some rules that are more befitting.
