Sometimes people don't want help. More often than not,they don't deserve it either . Sounds harsh but it's true.

At 40 and still on if heroin , he’s lucky to have even made that age ,the reality is that it’s only a matter of time and she knows it , it’s a nightmare for her.

I think that woman needs help herself to let go and stop beating herself up. Very difficult situation and he is her son after all but the guilt in her tone is palpable and can't be good for her own health.
