    Hi folks,
Had chicken in for 30 minutes when power went for hour. Oven was high at 220. Power back after an hour. Can we keep cooking? Chicken wrapped in tin foil and foil was still warm to touch. Have oven back on and going to cook for two hours. Just wondering people's thoughts.
    Thanks
    Mick

Can't see any issue with it, Oven would have stayed warm for at least 15 or 20 mins after provided it was kept closed. DO you have a meat thermometer?

i roasted my chicken in a halogen oven for 90 mins,60 + 30 at 190 yummy 220 seems high and if done 30 mins it could be overdone and burnt if another 2hrs are added.?

Sorry lads, you know the rules (and if you don't please check out the Charter) - we cannot give food safety advice on here. Think about it, if you have concerns about the safety of what you're about to eat, would you do so because a bunch of people online thought it may probably be ok?

When in doubt, throw it out.
