Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anyone give a toss how cold Gary Neville is?
I'm sure he's getting very well paid to commentate.

    Yaya Toure? He's still alive?

You didn't answer the question. I'm assuming you don't seriously think Mignolet is better than Ederson.

Did you honestly expect a straight answer?

Almost forgot one of these... :pac:

A rare enough site on the pitch there. And no I don't mean the snow

Ya in fairness he's not helped by United not being set up to play out the way City and Spurs are. I'd class de Gea as decent but Ederson as exceptional in that area.

I also think de Gea's sweeping as poor. One goal that stands out is Leicester's first in the King Power. Vardy latched on to a 70 yard hoof upfield. De Gea's starting position was at the edge of the D but retreated while the ball was in flight. Vardy picked up the ball just outside the D. The likes of Lloris or Ederson would have swept that comfortably.

Same with crosses. His starting position is fairly conservative and he's nowhere near the calibre of Courtois there.

I think Ederson is very good but he’s not in the conversation for best in the world. De Gea is and has been for a while.

Courtois trumps both on crosses easily.

Like i said i do rate Ederson, good old Mignolet not so much :pac:
Ill give you a hint since you are struggling
Hes tall and friends with Kompany
*May not be friends with Kompany :pac:

It'd be nice. I asked the question in all seriousness. Of course I'm biased, but I don't think there's anyone better than Ederson (excepting DDG) in the league. And certainly not for the style of play Pep wants from us.

I’d rank Ederson, just behind DeGea and Courtois in the PL but his ceiling is possibly level with DeGea and higher than Courtois’.. he’s an exceptional talent. I was watching him before his move to city as a possible replacement for DeGea if he moved to Madrid.. he still has a bit to do before he is up there in the World stakes tbh..

They count all season tickets whether they go or not apparently.

Courtois? Seriously? Hmm. I'll beg to differ with you there.

Interesting, thought the only counted people who entered via a turnstile.

To be fair, I think most clubs do that.

Ah, one of those hands in the face that only hurt till the moment you realise everyone has ignored you and moved on and are running up the pitch.

They've sold the tickets, they couldn't give 2 ****s whether you use them or not.

For Arsenal it's all about the money, so tickets sold is all that matters

This practice of announcing a full house based on season tickets really should be ended. Everyone knows it's a joke.

    Wenger didn't make one substitution.

Would you want to go on at -4 and 3-0 down to a team that's hammering everyone ?

Well they don't get any extra money for pretending all the ST holders attended!

No Giroud. No Plan B :o:o:o:o:o

  • I thought Mkhitaryan was free of his Jose shackles?

He's as soft as they come and infuriating in possession. A shame as he hasn't managed to carry his bundisliga form to the English game at all.

Ah now, you think he'd try something. Anything.

Mkhi lost all ability from about 60 minutes. Stick on Iwobi.
Kolasinac was appalling all game. Stick on Maitland Miles.
Stick on Nkeitah for even the last 5 minutes. Give the crowd something to maybe get behind.

In fairness him and Aubameyang get a pass till the rest of the season. They have been throw into a team/club in disarray. Can’t judge them till a new manager is brought in.

    Fair point.

9 (nine) points City have dropped this season and we're in March. The consistency they've shown this season is remarkable.

Pep is building a dynasty there. The only thing that'll stop them from winning the PL for the next 2 or 3 seasons is complacency.

They'll have 2 EC in the next 4 to 5 years. One coming this May.
