Does anyone genuinely prefer the PIAT over the Panzerfaust? I think I could throw a rocket further than the PIAT by hand

Yeah i remember the first time using it, snuck in behind a tank stood up let rip and it hit the ground about 5m in front if me and about 30m away from the tank !!!

when you learn to always prepare instead of running out the MG34 is easily the best gun in the game

remember you can use the piat as a mortar, check your minimap when you have it equipped you will see a red cross for where it's going to hit

What??! How does that work? The game explains nothing about that, I just thought it was an inferior launcher to the Panzer

I've been killed with Flak as infantry way too often and shooting planes with it barely scratches their paint

I actually agree on the AA (including mobile AA), they do too much damage at the moment to other tanks. I mean on one hand DICE implemented, at least initially, very realistic hit damage and deflection on tanks via tank shells and PIAT/Panzerfaust...but then you've a 20mm AA can tear up tanks no bother whilst simultaneously being a bit useless against actual planes.

when you have the PIAT equipped press the start button to bring up your minimap and you will see the red dot moving around as you move yourself handy for some sod camping at the back of the map with a sniper, in airodrome I use it to kill the snipers camping on the edges

My mind is actually blown now, cheers man I'm now puzzling myself as to how it could reach anywhere as a mortar when it can barely fly 10m straight out of the tube! Looking forward to giving this a try later tonight.

In WW2 the Germans had an AA gun that was so good against tanks they modified it and stuck it in their Tiger tanks. Dice going for realism again and not a prosthetic limb in sight.


Youtube blew up yesterday about the new AR for the assault class, everyone loves it apparently.

That AMAA on reddit didn't last long earlier, deluxe airdrops seemed to be the only question getting the most attention. That and the outrage of tide of war unlocks not actually unlocking for most people.

3.5 hrs already unlocked the Selblaster, too easy!

The empty clip blocks your line of sight when empty. 2 hit kill 5 in the mag.

Got the Selblaster, got stuck on the kill a tank bit. First game I equipped the mines I got it. There was one on a road picking of people on the periphery, hit it with two rockets and a grenade and he revered down a hill, put the mines on the crest and after him spending about a minute repairing, KABOOM.

Really starting to notice the getting killed in one or two shots. Worst bug I have on PS4 is going to shoot someone and it brings up your friends list, got me killed several times

Killed 4 or 5 guys with a V2 earlier, makes everything worthwhile

Yeah I've certainly noticed being killed way behind cover video is kind of an eye opener. Have seen those weird tracers from bullets. Have not had latency as bad as what is shown in the video just barely off at times. Definitely some of the TTD kills I've been seeing have to do with being down to lower health after taking damage but there is issues there with most kills, you feel as though you are one shot at full health. I've noticed on a few occasions that I've not been hearing all bullets being fired from the enemy not sure why that is, there was a guy in front of me the other night shooting. The spot over his head was being blocked by a downed enemy didn't realise it was an enemy until he turned and shot me, when I started hearing his bullets.

Very easy those challenges this time for me anyway, you too looks like. The only one that I had trouble with was the repair and I've yet to finish the plane damage from inside the cockpit. The Support repair is definitely not for 100 points took a load attempts to get that must for 1000 because it tracked every repair just took long. The gun is not great though.

Next weeks challenges are mostly for Grand Operations. As a whole I dislike those challenges to unlock weapons anyway, too buggy and the end result is pretty lame. VGO is pretty poor imo, that Selblaster should be in the Recon progression. If they had of put the Ribeyrollles and the Shotgun in the rewards it would have been more rewarding to do the challenges. Do hope the last reward is a decent gun!

I'm trying so hard to like this game and I'm struggling. I think it's because I hate every single gun I've used so far. Now I've only got a few unlocked but none of them interest me and none of them feel satisfying to use. I think I just need to invest the time to customise them a bit more but so far......bleh.

played a couple of long sessions, really like it, it's like any bf game highs and lows
got 13 kills with a V2 the other day and can't stop thinking about it, we were just about to lose a sector when I landed it on the last point. enemies bled some more tickets and we hung on, just about, for the win
it can seriously frustrate too but for me, money well spent

What class should I start to rank up first? I am guessing medic or support?

jackfrags and levelcapgaming are pretty good for tips. Stodeh is someone I started watching recently and he's an awesome sniper, which I am not nor will ever be.

support is pretty strong, one of the bipod LMGs in the right area is lethal. any of the starter weapons are already fully unlocked so a good place to start. the ribeyerolls is a very strong assault weapon and the reason my kdr is highest on that class not sure how you unlock it now though, probably BUY IT FOR COMPANY COIN. hit capslock by mistake there but it seemed to have worked out.

medic is my favourite class but I struggle on certain maps/situations

On xbox1: what buttons call in the v1 using the binoculars?

I know holding LT and RT get the supply menu, but I can't seem to actually select the v1!

Also, anyone else get a R2 bug when often trying to zoom it shows friends online instead?
