There must have been some error in the 80 minute totals so, as none of that really explains how VVD lost 5 points after that time.

It's 1 point for every 3 recoveries and 1 for every 2 CBI. Karius actually had 13 recoveries according to the stats joint 2nd highest with Lossl so far this week. So he must have been touching the ball at some point I presume?

Didnt think about the headers that way. Makes sense. But could be construed as a pass attempt too then maybe? VVD was 1 recovery short of another point.

Did he miss a tackle or two in the last 10? Commit his only foul? Did he definitely not fail in a couple of passes? I didn't see the game.

Butland scored an own goal last week and got 3!!!

But yes today's pool ones were weird

He had a poor clearance go for a corner late on and gave away a few fouls in their box perhaps.

Surely it's key passes that have loaded up his BPS. Must've been a few long punts that fell to the feet of an attacker

That clearance was the first half.

The only thing he did ‘wrong’ late on was tackle a Newcastle player, but ended up putting the ball out for a throw as the ball rebounded off him.

Lovren was great in the last 15 mins so it’s easy to see how his bps rose quickly, but VVDs fall is pretty curious to say the least.

I can only assume there was an error in the 80 minute bps (and 70 mins as he was on 30 bps then too).

Chilwell player LW when he came on yday
As predicted Mahrez attitude has been first class again since returning. He could have had another goal and assist .
Having seen the highlights I'd have been raging if he had not got points.
