I seem to be very lucky with the sickness (touch wood)! Once it disappeared it didn’t come back, bar the odd wretch some mornings. I’m certainly feeling little flicks here and there, nothing consistent but I know what they are. At the scan on Monday the baby was really wriggling and turning all over the place which was lovely.
My belly has completely rounded out, I was comparing pictures of my other two pregnancies and it’s unreal how much more pregnant I look at this stage!

Clean sheets on the bed check,
    Shower and fresh PJs check,
Bed and a movie in peace check
    Happy Saturday everyone x

Betsie I was thinking of us on the June thread this time two years ago, same weather just lugging about huge bumps!!

Hope everyone’s well. My sleep has gone to pot, lots of tossing and turning, I was doing good for a while. Also lots of headaches in the evenings which is annoying, possibly need to up the water intake but the constant peeing has started so I don’t want to add to that ailment either.

Omg I’m the same with the peeing! It’s unreal! When I’m heading to bed I pee and just before I’m going to sleep 30/45 mins later I need to pee again! So far I’m making it till morning but I’m waking up 15/30 mind before my alarm bursting!

I think the heat might be the culprit for the lack of sleeping, I’m definitely the same the last two nights. I’ve been shattered, I worked from home yesterday and ended up just taking a sick day today coz I’m just so wrecked!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,954 ✭✭✭Betsie_xr3i

I'm not able for the heat at night at all either I'd love a good sleep I'm off in the morning have a good appointment at 9.30 and I'm actually planning on going home after it to bed for a couple of hours to try relax

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,102 ✭✭✭Digs

Yes the heat definitley doesn’t help when you’ve a lodger on board!

The peeing is a pest alright Susie. I’m waking very early too absolutely bursting. I’m stuck in bed though because both my daughters bedrooms are beside the bathroom and I’m afraid of waking them!!! I’ll have to get over that fear soon.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,954 ✭✭✭Betsie_xr3i

I have gotten over that once you go on a few nights to pee and you realise you don't wake them you will be fine

I have a Dr appointment this morning heard little bubba heart beat for the 1st time is so lovely to hear xx had an appointment for 10 am got there it was so busy I was asked to come back at 12

It’s the morning time that’s my problem! They don’t wake during the night but once 6am hits all it takes is for a pin to drop and the eldest is awake which is a pain. Especially during the summer.

Glad your apt went well. I still haven’t seen my GP yet! I have to bring my youngest on Friday for something so will make an apt for around the 17 week mark I think.

I'm 17 weeks today kinda can't believe it seems to have flown since 12 weeks xx nearly half way there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,102 ✭✭✭Digs

Ahhh I’m Paddy last! Just 14 weeks. When are all your big scans? Mine isn’t until July, feels a lifetime away.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,954 ✭✭✭Betsie_xr3i

Mine is July too digs it is ages away 😢😢😢

  • Registered Users Posts: 35 SuzieQCork

Im 18 weeks today!! My big scan is June 22nd. The next 3 weeks are going to drag id say!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 281 ✭✭cowlove

My big scan is 7th of July. Can't wait. I gave a scan on Tuesday then it will be another month of waiting.

Glad you got to hear the heartbeat Betsie! Such a lovely sound!!

I'll be 16 weeks tomorrow. It is flying.

I told my boss and a few others at work. I'm trying to get my news out there as my bump is growing!

I had an awful headache the other Eve Digs. I'd say it is dehydration and the heat!

Anyone else getting cramps? Don't remember them in my last pregnancy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,102 ✭✭✭Digs

Cramps have been a symptom of all my pregnancies! In the last week or two especially if I overdo it. The other night I was running around like mad cleaning and pulling stuff out of here there and everywhere and I had take your breath away cramps, possibly more ligaments moving but they bloody hurt.

I’m also going to whinge about a really annoying post nasal drip. My nausea is gone but that is making me puke. Extremely unattractive but driving me nuts.

A few of us with July scans so! It’s June today already so as with everything I’m sure it’ll fly :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,954 ✭✭✭Betsie_xr3i

The humidity is cruel today I'd love a shower of rain to cool the place down X

My poor feet are swoolen today I haven't stopped going the last few days I'm half contemplating looking for a cert for next week it's really the last chance till September I'll have to get a few hours peace in the mornings

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,102 ✭✭✭Digs

Well that was a savage bank holiday! Spent it in Sligo, jealous of everyone around me enjoying drinks, except for my SIL who’s pregnant too!

Only catch was the drive each way taking two hours longer than normal. The kids were fine, my back was not!!

I’m feeling great otherwise I have to say, this trimester is definitley being kind to me so far. Hope everyone else is well :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,102 ✭✭✭Digs

Sorry Betsie just read your update. Take the cert definitley, 100% you won’t get this time back! Pregnancy and having kids already is no joke. Hope you’re feeling better now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 281 ✭✭cowlove

    Betsie definitely take the cert.

Glad you are feeling better Digs. I'm feeling good too. Sickness completely gone. I nearly forget I am pregnant.

Have my scan in the morning. Of course I am pooping myself that something maybe wrong!

Hopefully it will all go well tomorrow.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,102 ✭✭✭Digs

Congrats cow love that’s exciting! We’re not finding out this time which I’m excited about but I have zero intuition at the moment unlike my other two so I’ll drive myself mad guessing until the birth!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,954 ✭✭✭Betsie_xr3i

Not finding out on our 3 rs was the best surprise ever xx

  • Registered Users Posts: 35 SuzieQCork

Mine is in July! Will be relieved when it’s over, I’m always nervous before it.
We just decided not to find out this time, people seem amazed because we have two girls already that we’re not dying to find out if it’s a boy but then again people are daft!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,954 ✭✭✭Betsie_xr3i

Yeah anomaly scan is in July here, have quick scan and check up at the hospital next Tuesday I can't wait

  • Registered Users Posts: 281 ✭✭cowlove

You all have more will power than me not finding out. I love finding out. I feel like I can bond with the baby more somehow. Plus I have bags and bags of boys clothes I wanted to know if I could get rid of :D I can't wait to go through them!

I am having a private anomaly scan on 7th July as OLOL doesn't offer them.

    I can't wait. So excited!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,102 ✭✭✭Digs

I suppose it’s just a feeling you get one way or another cowlove! We’re having fun guessing here anyway. I’m ignoring the absolute mountain of girls clothes I have in the attic, they’ll either dress another girl or go straight to the charity shop in December! I’m glad I had the sense to vacuum bag them after this lady but there is some really good stuff tucked away.

Is anyone else absolutely ravenous??? I cannot keep myself full. It’s ridiculous. Luckily it’s all hummus, olives, cheese, crackers etc I can’t get enough of but all of those calories add up too!! Completely gone off sweets/chocolate which is a novelty. Couldn’t get enough of haribo jellies on the other two.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,954 ✭✭✭Betsie_xr3i

I'm hungry app the time digs not for dinners but just snacks crackers and cheese all the way here and white kinder Buenos :):)

Have a scan tomorrow afternoon I can't wait X hubby can't get off work for it though I'll have to get loads of pictures for him xx

Digs I have just dispatched most of my bags of girls clothes :-) or exhanged them for a friend's boys clothes. There's so much space in the attic now!
    My maternity clothes went too....!!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 281 ✭✭cowlove

Well a positive and a negative I suppose. Baby is well and she pointed out thr heart and other organs. Strong heartbeat, all looks good so far. For that alone I'm very happy.

Couldn't see the gender! Baby was well covered up. I even had a walk, a drink and a sweet snack and couldn't get baby to cooperate so I'll have to go back in a couple of weeks. I figure the hospital can tell me the gender by then anyway (and can hopefully can see!).

I was quite disappointed we couldn't see the gender, and I feel like an ungrateful ass for it. But it does mean so much to me to know from a bonding perspective. I feel like I'm at square one now.

I hope you ladies are feeling well :) xx

Aw Verity that is so annoying. Baby wants to keep you guessing another while longer. Great everything else looks good!

    Two words - stretch marks.
Keep using the bio oil. It's a ****ty ol feeling going applying it to see the little feckers got there before you!! Going to keep applying twice a day from now on and hope for damage limitation at this stage.

19 weeks tomorrow. Almost half way. 🀗 (that was meant to be a smiley face.)

Loads of movement the last week. Guess that's the way it's goin to be from now on. Gas! Literally ;-)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,954 ✭✭✭Betsie_xr3i

I think with stretch marks if your going to get them you will get them nothing is going to stop them x some people are more prone to them then others x

  • Registered Users Posts: 64 ✭✭Verity.

This, for sure. When I was expecting my first I was slathering bio oil over my belly for months on end. I stretched like crazy regardless. Honestly though? I don't really mind my stretch marks. It seems corny to say that they are a reminder of my pregnancy journeys, but it is true. My husband doesn't seem to pay any heed to them, so that's good enough for me! :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,102 ✭✭✭Digs

I managed to get none on my first, I got one deep random one below my knicker line after my second and I have a lovely one smiling up at me from my belly button currently. I haven’t bothered with oils as I always thought you get what you get!

I’m back to being absolutely wrecked. Have a pain in my back which is really starting to niggle and is making lifting my almost 2 yr old near impossible currently. I am finally getting to the GP this Friday, although they have a practice midwife which is great so I get to see her.

Are anyone else’s boobs killing them? I never had sore ones on my other two but these are really annoying me.

I can't touch mine digs they are killing me xx
