if we do that we could end up crashing a couple of tinder dates!!

I think I also know what Pter looks like cos he posted a pic of them at the escape room that time

Ok so everyone congregate on Pter! There's surely somewhere around there we can arrange to meet? Just outside? At around 7? If you're late we'll be inside making noise?

Well my plan = drop bag to hostel. Go for pint nearby the restaurant.

Meet with online internet folks who hopefully don't take my kidney and leave me in an alley :P

Then possibly get drunk after food. :pac:

Oh yeah sure I lived in Dublin for 10 years so I'm well familiar with them. Just never came across that name for that specific statue before.

We have a Nuala with the Hula in Belfast sure!

There is a little courtyard type place outside the restaurant. Its probably the best place to meet. I can pm everyone my number, so ring it and if you see a dude answering, thats me.

So for those of us not going for BBQ, when will you all be in TPs?

  • Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators Posts: 16,287 Mod ✭✭✭✭quickbeam

Do they serve alcohol at this BBQ place? Cos if they do, and the majority are meeting there anyway, could tag along and drink myself silly while watching the rest of you eat?

    From their website
    BBQ – Fire – Smoke – MEAT – Beers
Pitt Bros was Dublins first BBQ joint. Since opening in 2013, we have firmly put our stamp on the Irish BBQ scene.

We pride ourselves on using local ingredients. Our meat is premium, Irish farmed and locally butchered. At Pitt Bros we smoke over wood for up to 12hours in our custom built smokers. Our Pitt Masters have developed a unique blend of dry rubs, mops and marinades. All of our sauces and pickling is done in-house, daily – no compromises. We are passionate about authentic American BBQ.

The beats are always rocking and the beers are always flowing. Join us for some BBQ!

I'm liking the look of that Mexican place across the street. Could sit there like Billy-no-mates waving across at you while tucking in to my tacos! :)

Had a wander through the area there on Street View. I never knew it was such a buzzy area. And I call myself a Dub and a Northsider!
