Jose still huge in a big game situation. Tactically bested Conte and now Klopp. Liverpool goal came from a United gift. One of the best players in the league had to wait until the 95th minute to get a shot away. Lukaku made a huge contribution. Young did fantastically well.

Good stuff all round.

Utd defended really well in fairness limited Liverpool to very little. I don't usually talk about refs but thought he was out of his depth today and let utd get away with such cynical play at times.

Deserved for Utd. Unfortunately.

Didn't do enough really and Mourinho focused in on our weaknesses in that first half like a missile. Got his goals and it was perfect for him.

Bar 10 minutes at the start of the 2nd half, we were held mostly at bay.

So many things just didn't fall Liverpool's way today, passes missed by inches, some great defending from Man United. Young giving Salah nothing by basically being up his arse all day, nibbling away at him, not giving him a moment's rest.

Referee was pretty awful, some really basic errors at times like the Sanchez non-yellow and a pretty clear penalty and subsequent red for Young for a foul on Salah.

Just one of those days for Liverpool. Easy to say Liverpool dominated and possibly deserved a draw but they were allowed do that. There seemed to be a decision from United to let Mane have a lot more space than the likes of Firmino, knowing he's less likely to play a killer pass.

I think United's physicality was massive in this game, especially for the two goals.

I see Klopp gets away with his antics again, but I suppose it's passion that made him stray onto the pitch.

Thought Liverpool got away with murder with the high press myself. City do similar. Lots of little fouls while in possession to stop the other team getting forward.

Even still, deserved United win. Created the best chances and defended better.
