The pop up in the game is so so annoying, even when in the map for 5mins cars and scenery are still not rendered properly its like playing on a PS3. Why put so much detail in when clearly even the PS4 Pro is struggling to handle it. Maybe if they stopped putting 15 staircases into every safe house and all that useless clutter it would not be so intensive.

I've heard numerous people mention this issue alright, is it specific to the Playstation console or is it happening across all platforms? I haven't encountered myself.

Reminds me of PUBG where you'd have to wait for building to populate before you could start looting them.

I'm at 459 WT4. Haven't unlocked all the SHD stuff. Where do i find more SHD? I've done all the side missions and looted all the box's, bar one thats in a side mission area with no access.
Also cant unlock the DMZ south. Everytime I try to start the recon mission it bugs out.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,409 ✭✭✭✭gimli2112

Bulk of SHD tech is in main and side missions. This with the 4 or 5 pieces per district should be enough to open all skills and perks. Now I think of it I may have on or two skills tounlock. Can you replay some of the missions on harder difficulty that reward shd?

One of the DMZs bugged out on me. Had to restart it several times but then it worked.

What is with the group difficulty scaling in this game?!

Decided to do the hard daily today and entered my first matchmaking game. Enemies tough enough but we plow through ok. Long story short we get to the dock at the end and we just get slaughtered every time. When did hard become heroic?

Two guys quit and I become leader but to my surprise I can't matchmake to fill the spots. What's going on???? Ending up having to leave the damn thing. Evening wasted.

Sketchy at best, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt.

I had a bug where I couldnt get past Air to gain access to the invaded stronghold, I cleared the mission 4 times today and it still said I hadnt completed it.

Joined a 444 (i am 289 kinda stuck due to the above) and rinsed the mission, it placed enemies lower than me for some reason. Worked anyway on to WT2 now after about a week being stuck.

I unlocked wt4 tonight. Did stronghold with randomers. Was piss easy to be honest. I am glad it was not Lincoln bridge again.
Then went to try and do tier 3 control point with GS 404. Wow how I got killed, numerous times. Then when only few guys left AI did that rush thing and killed me. So control point got overtaken without me and I lost out on all rewards. Ah well, maybe I will do easy control points first to get gear, before I do level 3s again as enemies are very damn strong now.

Regarding the matchmaking, when it switches to you as group leader make sure your group privacy is set to open in the social tab.

Was shattered yesterday (something to do with clocks doing something in March). Said I'd do a daily and saw there was this or a challenging one on the other stronghold. Went with challenging. Roosevelt Island can be a head melter. Got one shotted a few times by shotgunners but still knew I'd made the right decision. Ran through it with a group of randoms in no time.

Was worried though 'cos at the start two clan guys voted to kick the other random I refused and spent the rest of the time waiting for the axe to fall on me

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,498 ✭✭✭ECO_Mental

I had a good night last night I'm on WT2 and did the invaded missions to unlock the stronghold to level up WT3, matchmaked to do Roosevelt Island, but it put me into only a Duo and wouldn't get anymore players. The dude I was with was lv 440 or something so I don't know what he was doing down at this level. Anyway it was great having a player that wasn't an idiot we breezed through it and only wiped once at the end bosses. There was no rushing out into the open rambo like and getting killed, both of us took it strategically I would cover the left he would the right and make sure no one flanked us. It was great peace of mind that you knew someone had your back and you could concentrate on your flank.

After that we did Congress and sailed through that as well, he also dropped a load of 400 gear for me also to get me up the ranks quicker. BFF:D

I think I picked the right specialist also with the Nade launcher. I was in a tricky situation at the end of Roosevelt Island:o out of Armour kits a couple of heavies and a chopper full of Tusks dropped in (I was in a pickle...)pulled out the nade launcher and just wiped the regular Tusks to enable me to escape. I dont think I would have been able to do that with the sniper or crossbow:cool:

Yeah the grenade launcher is easily the best specialist weapon. The way I see it, the main advantages are.
Demolitionist - SMGs/LMGs and damage to enemies out of cover
Survivalist - ARs, fire grenades and healing
Sharpshooter - Rifles, flash grenades all weapon stability, reload and headshot damage

I went with the demolitionist. There are several good situational perks with each. The Demo guy has one that reloads all weapons when your armour breaks and does something when you use a health pack around weapon handling.

I'm currently ranking up survivalist which is great too but I miss my demo guy.

WT5 cant come quick enough, im at the stage where i have 4 different builds soloing all content the game has to offer with absolute ease.
Literally point, click, dead not even the slightest challenge and no need to even use cover just aim and instant kill all mobs.

However the most fun im getting from the game is coming up with builds and not just copy/paste from youtubers or streamers.

Well done lad. You are rocking it now.:cool:

Ive been around 463 for a week or more and currently working on my 2nd character but my pet hate about match making with randomers is exactly what you mentioned.

Its like they have no realisation that they will be slaughtered! I've even had one idiot constantly melee me for staying back and then repeatedly watch him dying at level 429 or something before he realised why i was staying back a little.

Im on Xbox and it seems most of boards are on PSN :o so ramdomers are pretty much most of my team, most of the time.

Hopefully, when the game gets more popular, it will have more players from XB.

Im enjoying it, despite its flaws and occasional issues. Its still a good game and enough to keep you going all the time.

If anyone wants to do any activity in the evenings, Im happy to help and also to use my lower character to start missions to get specialisation points for the other two specialisations on your mains. I need to put more time into these myself as well as I wouldnt mind maxing three on one character.

i have been really enjoying the game, but im starting to get a bit fatigued with the repetition of the missions . Havent been able to get into any dark zone pvp matches, im not lvl 30 yet tho so i guess it's more of a max lvl thing.

You still playing easy or something I can smell the **** off that I'm gs 468 with a reasonable build and to do a challanging mission with randomers takes anything from 1.30 hours to 3hours. Even the Stronghold on hard is long and full with hard bull sponge bits....

Point,Click,Dead I call Bull**** on that sir

I had a strange thing last night I went to do the stronghold last night for the daily in t4 on hard 2 guys in a clan joined and a lvl 24 that obviously got the ingame boost but he was up and down like a whores knickers..... I thought there was like gs requirements and that it was a joke and I presume he was a mate of the 2 clan boys because they wouldn't vote remove him?

Is there not a gs cap or anything to stop this like d1?

1.30 to 3 hours? lol your doing it wrong so, 20-25 mins solo same in a group.
Your welcome to join me anytime to see.
Gearscore means nothing once your anywhere near 440, its all about your build.

All the lads i play with are the same, get a good build and challenging missions are a walk in the park.
Go check out any streamer streaming right now, they are all soloing challenging missions.
Maybe you should learn to make a build before ****ting on someone?
Pretty much everyone whos playing the game regularly are min maxing fine builds and soloing challenging missions.
Speedrunners are doing them in 10 minutes.

I dont get why the hostility? or indeed why you dont believe me?
Quick look and you tube for you and there is thousands of videos of people soling challenging missions... heres a quick random vid.

Soloing missions solo anything mobs are nowhere near mobs in group hp way higher also their dmg is personally I don't see why you would play end game stuff solo missions, stonghold and the raid you going to want to play solo? Wasn't a go at you just don't see any build that will allow you stay out of cover and take on a horde of mobs as you kill 2-3 mobs with one click solo possibly but that's like playing the game on easy and saying your amazing. And yes I'm aware of the vamp build that keeps you up.

I can say with a proper team the mission/strongholds are perfectly normal to hard but you have a **** synergy and clueless teammates you my aswell smash your head agaisnt the wall. I don't want to go ah **** team you know what I'll run this solo make it easy on myself and **** in this dark room alone, it's not for me I want a proper challenge even if that means dragging a **** randomer threw the mud

It all scales with number of players.

Look at that video i linked, hes running around not using cover either, why ? because he has a good build.

As for why i run solo missions, friends are not always online but why not?
Its also a great way to test builds.

Again it's not a go at you dude calm your baps when my mates arnt on I'd "personally" matchmake than play solo it's fine if you like it more but I would defo say the game solo is like 80% easier solo

I'll take a look at that video when I get a chance cheers

My issue with your original post was you sorta came across like the end game is easy and you rambo it, which it could be in solo but it's defo at nice lvl of difficulty with a group of 4

Have to say i dont really find the open world element great, bit of a slog. Typical ubisoft open world collectathon.

The missions are great though. Wonder what a game like the division would be like without the open world, just mission after mission and loading into the BOO after. Think id prefer that.

Well this will have a clan system with up to 50 members so hopefully we'll have boards clans for pc, PS4 and Xbox. Should have people online the same time as you then.

Speaking of, if anyone is on this early next week and creates a boards clan, can you post the details on here so we can join.

Has anyone a source as to whether they're cross platform or not? I wouldn't expect them to be, but the articles I've checked don't give any info.

Bit late to the party. Had to buy a new case before I could install a new GPU and claim the game. It was a whole thing.

I was in there a bit last night to get loot because missions can go f**k themselves with their difficulty right now.

Ended up getting a bunch of stuff in no time at all. DZ still the best place for loot it seems. But same as you I found the place empty. Not a sinner to be seen.

I'd be up for some DZ shenanigans later. Have been in and out randomly, clearing a few landmarks. Have come across a couple of guys, one went rogue as I attached my contaminated gear to the choppa. He killed me fairly easily but didn't actually take my stuff, so I still got the extraction. The others, we all just emoted and went on our merry ways.
