I did Invaded Zoo last night because I've never done it (is it new????) and oh my god it was hilarious. It's like a legendary, how do they expect normal people to complete that :pac: The dialogue and constant ambushes were pretty funny.

    And..

I did it on challenging no bother. Turn left as you enter and there's a stack of crates.

I sense some forum e-peen stroking in there somewhere ;) .

    And why not? I'm class.

But it's true though, this patch is a bit rough for the average Joe. And I'll tell you what I just struggled with; Stranded Tanker on challenging. I had to earn that one.

I take back what I said last night about the fatigue thing....

Finally rolled the named providence chest piece last night that comes with perfect glass canon, and holy **** it is an absolute game changer. Jumped on DCD Headquarters on challenging for the time trial with a group of randos and managed to get the clear in 17 mins, 1 min shy of hitting stage 10. The numbers I was throwing out were night and day to before, I was already in a good place with DPS, but this has just really taken it over the edge.

Time trials are probably best done solo. Unless it's people you know. Heroic island could be a problem though........

Yeah, can be a disaster with randoms, I just got extremely lucky with the DCD group I got who were all on point. Pontomac and Federal Bunker runs with randoms have been less successful. Think I've only managed to hit stage 4 on those.

Not too bothered by the leagues anyway, rewards seem extremely underwhelming and not worth the hassle outside of the exotic cache.

Event center is actually fine if you just haul ass. I managed it in 14min something.

Federal Bunker was a real problem. I reckon even on a good run I'd still be 5min off.

Are humans are getting sub 10 minutes runs on Heroic Roosevelt? which I'd argue isn't possible without "funky business"

Be interesting to see how fast a Massive team can do it.

I wouldn't hold your breath. They couldn't complete the raid on PS when it launched. Allegedly.

If I want to get absolutely everything i.e. the the story DLCs and the Warlords DLC what is the cheapest way? Thinking of getting tonight.

Go into gamestop with a rifle and balaclava.

Enjoying making builds more than anything else and testing them out on heroic control points.
I have three really nice builds for AR for LMG but my favourite is the rifle build i put together tonight, i recorded a quick vid of heroic control point farming [i need lots of blueprints from them as most were added while i wasnt playing the game.]

I'm going to have to build one of those. Damage is crazy.

just watching a youtuber talking about the season reset and realised it's happened to me. I was 40--50 and am now 10 or something. I only kind of noticed it. Thought it was something to do with leagues, Feck.

I find them in crates as I stroll about Tullow. Just out in the open. Mad.

Snap! I did that control point last night before sleep too. Was in the area looking for Chameleon.

Tried bunker in a group, but again no joy. We did it in 15min 30sec. Soul destroying:(

Went to finish the manhunt last night, roosevelt Island followed by the rogue agent, just to find Roosevelt was invaded and i had to complete 3 missions just to unlock it, one of which i already did as part of the manhunt. Anyone know what day this invaded event will end? I'll come back to it when it's free again.

Very pissed off last night, did the zoo on hard with two absolute rando animals who destroyed everyone.

As soon as we completed I was disconnected and lost my specialisation points.

Another heroic CP with my LMG build, i really like the synergy with chest and backpack talents Trauma and Wicked , blinding/burning them with trauma then wicked increased damage :)

Exactly what I had in mind for a dark zone build, except with rifles!

I run my LMG on my "Nomad" build. 2 pieces system corruption, unbreakable chest and perfect clutch on the bag (great for when I whip out my SMG in times of trouble). Protection from elites mods. Pretty much a guaranteed win when I need it. :)

Might work very well in DZ actually as there is a cooldown so less targets means more chance it procs on the one player you really want to kill.

I did a couple of Heroics in Lincoln this morning with randoms. One guy was pretty handy, using the launcher turret which I really like seeing in a group. Got an exotic out of a faction crate. I was going to drop it as I had one but wasn't sure if it was better than the one I had so didn't, it's my biggest regret so far.

In the second run right at the last wave with the flame boss, everyone died except for a dwarven hero. I hope Tom Cruise plays me in the movie.

Only skills worth using now are mortar and sniper turret. Annoys me cause I really don't like them. I miss my good old rolly balls and turret. Even the sticky bomb turned out to be kinda whatever.

yeah this guy was flipping between both

Pretty sure you can toggle the invasion on and off when selecting missions. Can't remember how exactly, and I'm not at the Xbox to check, but you can definitely switch between the invaded and normal variants of missions. I did it yesterday on one of the time trial missions, DCD headquarters I think, which is also invaded this week.

If you're looking for skill DPS I'd agree, those are the only two worth bothering with. Still some other skills that are good for crowd control and area denial. Flame turret is still great for cutting off angles and preventing enemies from flanking, and I've also seen the pulse variant that causes confuse used to great effect if the person using it has specd into skill haste and can pop it constantly.

If we include defensive skills as well, I find the fixer drone invaluable. Even without any investment in skill tiers it has a really short cooldown, can take a ton of damage and heals relatively quickly. Also synergises with the companion talent really well which gives a 15% weapon damage boost when within 5m of a skill.
