Just wondering if it's worthwhile buying a digital radio scanner. Was thinking about the whistler trx1 they are expensive but not sure if it's a good idea or not to invest. Which digital radio systems are used in Ireland? Don't want to get one that covers the USA trunking or systems that are not used here. How many users here have gone digital? Has anyone else here got one and if so are you getting good use from it and which model are you using. I know tetra isn't covered by the commercially available scanners but don't care about that. OK for admin to move to appropriate forum if this is not the right place. Thanks.

Predominantly, DMR and NXDN/NEXEDGE/IDAS has a slow pickup.
