Have an alarm that keeps going off and there is a condition in the log recorded as "Z3 P.A"

I've performed a Walk Test - 2 No. door contacts (Zone 1) and 6 No. shock sensors (Zone 2). All working OK.

Does anyone know what this code refers to? Found nothing online relating to it. Thanks.

Is there a panic alarm (PA) that may have been pressed? May be one in a bedroom. You should be able to reset it with a flat screw driver depending on the type of panic button you have

No panic alarm installed. Only the door contacts and shock sensors.

Checked the voltage on the battery (11.9V).

    I don't know

Zone 3 is wired in the alarm circuit panel

There is a cut cable in one of the bedrooms that's always been there. And it looks it's CAT 5, not alarm cable.

Is the other end in the alarm panel CAT5 or alarm cable? Then you'll know :D

If not you're going to have to trace the cable and figure out what is it or use process of elimination to find out what Z3 covers

So is the whole house on 2 zones?
And presuming one of those zones is the front door for exit /entry.

I'll check the cable type at the panel end and confirm if it's network or alarm cable. The random CAT cable exiting the bedroom wall has always been there, so can't imagine it would be the cause of the alarm going off recently.

Zone 1 is for the 2 x door contacts. Zone 2 is for the window shock sensors. Confirmed they're working using the Walk Test function on the alarm control panel.

Is it possible this cable has been joined or extended during works etc.
Do you have engineer access to see how zone 3 or other zones have been programmed?
It's a very strange set up that all windows are on the one zone also.
