Gap year/becoming lifeguard

Hey everybody. Currently on a gap year and want to become a pool lifeguard in my free time, some good cv stuff and that. Used to swim when I was younger but haven't done so in a while, although I am a pretty good swimmer. Any recommendations about how can I do it? And get certified by the end of the summer? Thanks. You can do the Irish water safety courses or do the royal lifesaving version which is much shorter and easier to do.

Most councils will have vacancies for the summer up at the moment.

I worked in pools and beaches for years in both Ireland and the states it’s a great summer gig the advantage of pools is you can get year long work
