    What’s the margin of error for the foot pod? 100m over 10 miles is about a half of one percent. A quick look at the Stryd website suggests it ‘rarely’ out by more than 3% out of the box.

    There was also a lot of opportunity for corner cutting - if the course was measured on the paths, there were plenty of people going over the grass corners, and there were lots of them. That could certainly account for a good number of meters.
