    Hello I am seeing a guy on facebook offering prepay electricity for 50 percent off surely this is not legit

    Yes, this is not a legitimate offer. All offers, and savings, available with Electric Ireland, will be noted either on the Electric Ireland website, or the Electric Ireland Rewards site.

    Electric Ireland does not recommend that customers purchase top up from anyone other than recognised retail partners (such as Payzone), or online, directly from Electric Ireland.

    Should you see such an offer on Facebook, or another channel, could you please send us a private message including a link to the offer? We can then look into this further.
