    We are in the process of buying a new house and will only need electricity only as we don't have a gas supply. Will this affect my current rates?

    Hi sullydublin,

    Thank you for getting in touch. Yes, the Dual Fuel offer of 8.5% saving on each fuel will no longer apply - the saving on electricity units alone is 5.5%. This does not expire.

    If you are in a contract with Electric Ireland when you move, we recommend contacting Electric Ireland Sales on 1850 30 50 90 to have your contract transferred. If you are not in a contract and it is at least 12 months since you last received a switching bonus, we also recommend contacting them, as you will be a new customer again.
